I had problem in my English Language during my G.C.E. "O" level too, even thought I got 5 distinctions, but I still failed my English Language subject. I re-took it twice, but still failed. Finally I decided to give up and took my G.C.E. "A" level as private candidate. I got 3 "A" & 1 AO passed. It's just a fair result, but it's enough for me to complete my Degree at Open University.

Take or don't take is up to you, but I am trying to say here is, even you can't pass your English Language subject, it's still not the end of your education.

I think you should. Since you already had the idea of going for O levels, i believe you have the determination too. I failed my English too and re-took it. Try doing more of those 'assessment bk', go through pass year papers, watch more english sitcoms, read more newspaper.

Your written english seems not that bad, it's definately better than a primary school kid, just watch out for common grammer and vocab mistakes. That's what most ppl made.

Don't give up, you are still young. You won't want to regret not doing it when u are much older!

You should give it a try. If you are not willing to give it a try, you won't know where you stand.
