I run 4-5 times a week, and i try to push myself to get a little more everytime, but it seems that I am adding more time on and more speed, but its very slow, any comments

Just like your other muscles, your heart also needs time to rest. Try resting a little more and when you feel you have recovered fully, Try intensifying your runs not with speed, but length. I find that running fast doesnt help as much as running for a longer period of time. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure how far you are running but you may want to try running a shorter distance faster.

as your cardiovascular performance increases you should be able to perform more "work" i.e run further in the same amount of time. this is how you increase your Vo2Max. the higher your Vo2Max the more fat your body will burner in the hours after exercise.

run slow for a very long time.....its the best way!!!
