Below are two links to eBay. The first link is for a picture in which you can see that the box reads: "ACL TVHD." The second link is for a picture of the normal box (scroll down) which reads: "LCD HDTV". Both sellers sell the same model TV, the Olevia 232V. I would like to know if the TV of the first link is possibly a fake product, because I have seen some products which seem to bear the logo of a major brand, but instead say something different on the logo. Do you have this TV model? If so, do you like the TV?

Same television, the first one is in French. ACL is the acronym used for LCD in French. It could be that the TV just has one side of the box printed in English and the other in French. It gets ATSC and NTSC, hence it is compatible with American televsion, so there should be no combatibility issues.

It looks real, It could be a store brand TV, like Best buy's brand is Insignia, the only think I worry about it, the first link doesn't offer shipping insurance, and no returns, and they have low feedback. The second seems legit, but ultimately I would make sure of being able to get insurance on the product when shipping. I can tell you, that the whole paypal confirmed address stuff, is a good indicator, but a pain in the butt as well. I just purchased a really expensive pair of shoes, and I thought my addy was confirmed, turns out it wasn't, so long story short. LOTS OF BS..... will never purchase from anyone like that again.

Mysticman above is right. That is what I found on comparison, this is the French side of the box. The cheapest I've seen 32" LCD TVs is 700 at Office Depot, don't forget the $ 70 s/h fee. If you can come in at around $550 it's a good deal, since you have no warranty.

1. he price ou see is not the price it will sell for. It will go up and will probably jump twice as high in the last few minutes of bidding
2. it has a reserve which mmeans that the seller said he wont sell it unless X amount of money is offered. Since it hasn't been met, the reserve could be 50 dollars more or 5000 dollars more
3. The no exchange/reserve policy is sketchy. I never buy anything on ebay when they say "no returns" because itmeans theyre not confident that youll like the product. find someone that is willing to talk to you about under what circumstances you will be able to return to product.
4. ALWAYS talk to the seller. ask questions. theyre a real person just like you and should talk to you. if they dont, get out of there.
5.. ALso check their feedback. It isnt hard to get 100% positive feedback, if they dont have it, dont buy from them

The reserve isn't met,on the first TV,which could be $3000,just because you bid doesn't mean you win it at that price until the reserve is met . The second TV is for sale at that price,I never heard of that brand,so if you can shop it at Circuit City or elsewhere you would know if $700 which included shipping is a good deal.It may be !!

The first one is taking bids and if you look closely " reserve has not been met ", which means it's actual price is higher. The second one telly you how much it actually takes to buy it. You don't find out the actual price of the first one unless you bid on it. Two entirely different approaches to selling the same model of item.

It's an Off-Brand LCD Monitor and I guess the price they are asking is around what you'd get from Wal-Mart!!
Ask the sellers Questions to ascertain the information you require!

1st one looks like a foriegn model. I'd skip it in case you got foreign language on the menu screens.
Its like toothpaste and stuff at dollar stores.....1 side of the box might say Crest, but the other side is in spanish.
