Alot of atheist have a who cares attitude also. The religous will vote for their religous person just because they are the same religion.
Religion has a grouping mentality, atheist need to group on this. But I wouldnt want a leader either that is atheist, because atheist show that they cant unite. I know that sux, I would prefer the atheist, but have to think realistically. Im willing to stand by an atheist simply because he/she is atheist, shallow I know, but its a start but something to be done with caution

First off, I'm a Christian. Secondly, no, I don't think Islam is better than Atheism. Why? I'm not a "fire and brimstone" Christian, but I do believe that Christianity is the only "true" religion and the only way to get to know God. There can't be "better" and "worse" religions to belong to- you're either right or you're wrong, and I believe that both Islam and Atheism are wrong. I had never heard before that Muslims are considered to be more electable than Atheists in the States, and I don't know what the reason behind that is, but it's worth looking into.

You cant say any religion is false or not. How can you know? Are you God? So I may practice christianity but who am I to say that the my religion is better than the muslim religion. I was raised catholic based upon my geographical upbringing. If I was born in the middle east then I may have been born muslim. How can any God hold that against me when I had no choice as to where and to what environment I was born into. Atleast the Muslim and the Christian are searching for something more, atleast they search for more than what they see directly in front of them. Right or wrong they search for a deeper meaning to this existance which is much more than I can say for the atheist. The atheist just accepts his/her limitations...to put it simply.

It is always better to believe in God then to deny God. Your question following "if NO," doesn't follow logically. "If yes, is it better to believe in a false religion then (sic) not believe?" Any move toward God is a move toward God.

Is it better to not believe or follow the devil? I would choose Atheism over Islam as Islam is in agreement with the anti Christ...Islam not only denys God as Athiest do but actually seeks ot follow a false God...which we know there is only one God. This false God is a liar...Now who is the liar according to Christ... the liar is Satan the devil...Seems to me one who rejects the truth has a better chance than one who is duped by the Devil.
Islam follows a false God a false prophet and a false christ this is the religion that waits for the false Christ that is to come and he is the anti-Christ..

There is ony ONE way to Heaven and only ONE true God! Whether someone is athiest or whatever, if they do not put their whole trust in this ONE true God then they will have no place with Him. This God is the God of the Bible! He is sovereign, loving, just, and many other things which words simply cannot express! Jesus Chrst said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through me."

Ouch chief, considering it would be the same "God," I'd watch the wording there.

I would say that a muslim probably has a better chance, due to the large number of people that both believe in things and stuff.

No, nor do I think athiesm is better because 100 million people died under athiestic communism.

i"f NO: How come polls say a Muslim is more electable then a Atheist(in the US)?"

It might be Christians form this opinion from (not only the 100 million killed by athiests just mentioned) athiests they encounter online, like ones that want to know when will be "useful", echoing a final solution:

Or because athiests think Christians are stupid and mock them at every turn like these charming freethinkers

Muslim..Athiest.. I wouldn't vote for either one!

Honestly, do you athiests read the questions you guys post? There are literally THOUSANDS of questions like the examples given! You people are EXTREMELY filled with hate, and it's no wonder Christians don't want you in power! Can athiests really be that stupid and arrogant not to see that???

If we don't want to vote for you, deal with it.

NO. 75% of the world believes in a higher power, so the chances of a Muslim getting elected is more probable, then someone who thinks we came from monkeys.

I'm not a Christian, but I've got the data... And yes, Islam is better than Atheism to a large portion of the American population. (Not sure about the rest of the world.)
