lip piercing can be very painful for the first fews day. it will be completely healed within 3 to 4 weeks

Yeah, it hurts bad. I've seen grown men cry about it.
Piercings take about 12 weeks to heal enough to change the jewelry, and within a year it should be pretty well established. But lip piercings are really prone to infection because of all the bacteria in your mouth, and they can leave pretty visible scars. Be sure you're really committed to the idea before you do it.

i just took mine off due to some job interviewl and i miss it sooo much well it hurts quite a bit your lip gets swollen it took about 3 to 4 months for mine too heal entirely!!
