I was wondering what people think about black hair styles and how they look.....im mulatto so thats another thing to consider with my fair complexion........anyways i was wondering what white people or the population in general think about it....i wanna get short dreads and neat.....nothing rastafarian and thick.......but still what do people think of these hair styles......do you like cornrows.....dreads....afro...half cornrowns and loose braids at the back........loose braids all around....im just wondering about other people so give me your opinions
and dont give me any answers about do what hair style you like.......thats what i do or i wouldnt have braids but i wanna know about you ppl

WOW! There is an IGNORANT answer on here. Black people cannot wash their hair every day as it would damage our hair! Stop being ethnocentric and try to learn a thing or two about haircare of other races before you say stupid **** like that. Braids, cornrows, and dreads are part of black (no matter of what nationality) culture stemming from Africa. Caucasian hair is different and usually gets oily quick so they have to wash their hair every day or every other day but this is NOT necessary for black hair.

hahaha yeah i hate when people do that...damnnn.
but anyways....
i don't really like the cornrows (it depends on the person), but i don't like ultra loose braids ..maybe all around loose braids would look good. BUT i am really digging the dreadlocks, i think dreads are ultra sexy.

On the right person, when well-kept, they can look very good. I have no idea if any of them would look good on you, but that's the nice thing about hair -- it grows back, so you can experiment all you want!
No matter what you do, though -- and this goes for everyone, no matter the hair type or style -- keep well-groomed.

i imagine you'd be exceptionally warm in case you had dreadlocks, that's if you're a warm guy contained in the first position. i <33333333 dreadlocks! i also love Jason Castro & Fieldy (KoRn bassist, i play bass too)

unless the person is a Rastafarian....... i think it looks ghetto when guys walk around with dreadlocks and cornrows! i think whoever does that stuff has girl tendencies! i would never let a man with hair like that lay his head on my pillows! filthy!

The same thing I think about people who wear their head shaved, that's your business, I see you in passing, you live with you. Whatever way you wear your hair, wear it with the confidence of satisfaction for the man in the mirror.

Braids, cornrows, and dreadlocks are filthy and disgusting. Please wash ( completely wash ) your hair every day. Dreadlocks? Cornrows? Come on man, what would you think if someone went without washing a certain part of thier body for a couple months?
