In general, there are a lot of very cruel people out there. I have noticed one common thread in all the people I have ever encountered that are mean: They all have a need to hurt others to make themselves feel better. Its as though they actually feel good when they are able to inflict pain in another human being. (Pain of many levels, like putting them down, embarrasing them, or physically hurting them even!) Some people will also use cruelty to another as a way to focus the attention away from their own shortcomings by trying to make the other person look as though they have the "shortcomings". Very sad.

Because they are not happy within themselves and take their frustration out on others. Now they only do it to those that are weak and take their mess otherwise they runs into some series problems sometimes.

We all are mean one way or the other. If you think carefully you must be mean too in some ways.

Because they are so unhappy with their unsatisfying, trivial lives, that they have to tear down others to make themselves feel good. Mean people suck!!

people who are mean, are usually very unhappy and/or hate themselves. all you can do is feel sorry for them.

why do you think all men are insane. I find i am a happy person. I meet Happy nice people. I know a prick, everyone he meets he thinks they are pricks. They are all very nice people, and I get along with them fine. The prick well, he doesn't like anyone........
