u get good karma from doing good, and bad karma from doing bad. karma i believe is lessons we need to learn in order for us to become stronger. karmic debt can take a short time or years to come to us. karma is all about learning, evolving, and understanding. karma is also a teacher sometimes giving us very painful lessons to facility our personal growth.

The concept of karma is just a re-statement, in a more general and non-material way, Newton's third law: every action has an equal but opposite reaction.
Good karma and bad karma depends on your definition of good and bad. One person's good can be another person's bad. In the absolute or scientific sense, there is no such thing as good and bad. It is just a measure of what man thinks is desirable or not.

Well if I understand Karma correctly, each cause and effect constantly modifies your fate as a result of your own actions. It is the inescapable result of all that has gone before and is presently creating the future. Basically, you create your own life though your actions.
"Good Karma" and "Bad Karma" are just pop culture sayings to the best of my knowledge.

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

You get what you give...thats the best way to look at. Yes Karma is very real and i've seen the results many times. Sometimes the results are instant, sometimes it takes years. It all comes back to you one way or another.

Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do;.is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward. ,simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well. The Law of Karma is the "Law of Cause and Effect"

Yes I believe so. I have experienced that even a bad thought can bring an unpleasant result and by changing your thoughts can also change the results. Things done in malice create a cycle of misfortune.
