Hurricanes hit Nova Scotia, as well as being susceptible to tsunamis, forest fires, flooding, ice storms. Beautiful place in the summer though.

Well, there was the hurricane a few years back, but I think there was only one death. There's always the possiblility of a huge snow storm during the winter. Forest fires are always a possibility in the summer, but the fire supression in NS is pretty good. Other than that, no natural disasters.
