My husband has an innie belly button too and it's a huge hole. Usually wearing an undershirt can keep some of the lint from sweaters out. When you wear clothing where there is alot of stuff that comes off it - that's when the lint really starts to collect. You can also have a spouse willing to notice and keep it clean for you! That's my job!

Get a dryer sheet and sweep your belly button with it every morning. Presto! No more lint!

Just empty your lint trap before every load of laundry you do. You'll be fine if you do that.
