I don't know what to do!

My mum said I can have a puppy, or I can breed rabbits. I have 1 rabbit and 1 dog. If I breed rabbits, i get 2 rabbits,(male and female, duh). If I get a puppy, It would be from a shelter and probly a Border Collie X. If I breed rabbits I get to raise baby bunnies and sell them for a profet. If I get a puppy, I get the joy, love and loyalty from a dog...
HELP!

I'm not too found of bunnies but that's just my personal opinion, only because they aren't as fun as other pets and they also have some kind of weird smell that I can't seem to appreciate but they are adorable. I agree with the other reply though, if you're just doing it for the profit, I wouldn't do it.

Personally, I'd look into a local shelter or humane society and give a needy dog a loving home because nothing compares to having a companion to have by your side no matter what the sitaution is.

Puppies can become expensive though. Most shelters and humane societies include paying for rabies shots and getting the puppy spayed in the adoption fee, which varies from place to place. But, you're still looking at paying for extra fees such as blood work and other vaccines as well which can also vary from which vet you decide to go to.

With puppies you also should looking into grooming so they don't get horrible mats and flea treatments and grooming depending on what type of puppy you decide to go with.

Also, potty training can be a hassle too but once you have a fresh house you'll appreciate it.

I would go with a dog, personally. Nothing compares to a loving companion and him/her always being there to greet you when you get home and sticking by your side no matter what the situation may be.

Good luck in whatever situation you may choose!

Dog because u have the love, loyalty & companionship! What happens if u have baby bunnies & no 1 wants any plus bunnies breed alot!! U might wind up w/ more bunnies than u know what 2 do w/!!

I would chose a dog over bunnies any day!!!!

I have seen alot of people get bored by their bunnies and inturn neglect them. I almost never see that with dogs. You have to ask your self if you want a pet or if you are interested in making some money. if you breed dogs you could make 50 times as much.

If your at an age where you might be going to college down the road or moving around its a bad idea to have a dog unless your parents would be happy with you leaving it behind.

You should consider the animals life span and the respondibilities dictated by such things.

If you want to breed animals just for a profit then you deffinitly shouldn't be breeding. Breeding animals should be about more than just cute little babies and selling them to make money. If you are willing to love and care for a puppy and take full responsibility for it then go for the puppy but don't get a dog for the wrong reasons.

Get the puppy and leave breeding to people with experience. Bunnies aren't going to make you a millionaire, just like breeding anything isn't going to make you money if you do it right. Love and rescue a puppy and forget breeding. People end up dumping bunnies once the novelty wears off.

Get a dog, the rabbit breeder's in my area (Ohio), have a heck of time selling them.

And like someone else said, if it sounds good to you about the profit, dont do it. Baby rabbits require vet checks too, and you wont make anything, if not only very little.

Get a dog

I would go for the puppy. Some people go to rabbit breeders, not to keep as a pet but as dinner.

There are a lot of animals that need a home. If I were you I would adopt an animal that doesn't have somewhere to go. Breeding is just going to cause more animals that need a home.
