hi, i've been asking a few questions on here about my cats, mittens and mr. snickers, and i got some good answer's but some of you folks are real mean, and told yahoo to cancel my questions even though i"m just trying to learn more. anyway, i've had it and i'm moving where i don't have to put up with this shabby treatment.

my question is mittens and mr. snickers HATE riding in the car with me (once they both tried scratching me!), so i'm just going to mail them on ahead to are new home in tennessee (where it's still a free country, thank you very much). should i put them in the same box so's they have company or mail them seperate to save on the postage? or should i maybe use a big cardboard tube so they'll hold still? also, do i need to write 'this end up' even though they always land on their feet?

thanks, and probably good bye real soon.

You are one sick, ignorant person. How would you feel if i put you in a box for 48 hours until you eventually suffocated? How did you not use common sense to figure that out?

Just get 1-2 pet carrier cages and put them in your car. That simple.

Hmmm... this is kind of a CATch - 22. On one hand/paw, it would teach Cornbread responsibility (I'm assuming he gets an "allowance" as all my cats have?) as long as you can deal out the tough love when he (inevitably) spends money he hasn't earned yet. And watch out for those kitty "advances" too, I had to take out a loan once to pay off some of his orders! For me, the pros outweighed the cons, but then I only had 2 cats at the time. You are much busier & have a lot more on your plate~ will you have time to monitor his spending? If you think you will, give it a go! Otherwise, tell Cornbread that you can't let him do it b/c you'd have to let ALL the other kitties do it, too. Hope this helps. *** EDIT: Wonder Cat~ I won't ask about the Astro Glide, but may I inquire about the "turtle scented" wipes? It sounds like Wonder has very exotic tastes! Does Wonder like to decorate? Just thinking; I still have a Moroccan/"bohemian" bedroom set about 5 yrs old. Bubba went 'thru that phase along with a "Sports Themed" litter box, & a "Tropical Motiff" when he was taking hula lessons. Let me know...

I hope you realize they will probably arrive dead if you execute your ingenious idea. Why not buy a cage large enough for the both of them to ride in the car with you. That way they can't scratch you and they won't die either? It'll end up costing less in the long run as well. I do believe what you are planning to do is against the law. Look into it before you do it. You wouldn't want to end up in prison. Laws change from State to State. Cats will adjust on a trip if confined like in a box or cage. They'll feel safer than when lose. Please be kind!!! Or give them to someone before you leave. You can always get more cats once you relocate. There is no need to endanger their lives needlessly. Is there???

If you plan to fly your cats to a new location, you need to find out what the airline you are using requires. I have taken cats and been turned down for them flying because when they stood erect, their heads touched the top of the carrier. They need room to turn around and most will not permit 2 animals in the same space. You might think about freezing some water that you could place ion the carrier so the cat could have a drink.
YOU CANNOT MAIL CATS!!!!!!

Why do you have to send them there ahead of time? Is anyone there to pick them up and care of rthem while you are gone? WHY do you have two cats LOOSE in your car while you are driving? Get a proper cat and ROOMY cat carrier, put both your cats inside so you neither you nor the cats will be injured in the process and take them with you when you head for your new free country. Hope that answers your question and solves your predicament. Best of luck...

Buy pet carriers.

I think you just say this to get attention and to get people angry. Any person would have the common sense not to mail a live animal. If you are seriously asking these questions I suggest you get rid of your animals, give them to a good home with people who know how to take care of them

First of all, You do not mail your cat's under any circumstances! You buy 2 cat carrier's and they will be just fine in your car. Also you're not getting my address I got 8 in my house now LOL.

Cute cat names. I would say you should just put them in different cages so they will not fight or hit each other while on the go. Ask Fedex or your preffered postal services on shipping of them. I think they play with them too. well i know this wasnt much of a help. goodbye

You can ship them, but you'll need to use a cat carrier with food, water, and proper ventilation. Contact a shipper for prices.

They don't mail well. I would freeze-dry them and send them by UPS if I were you. Of course I am not you, so I would put them in a large travel kennel and take them in the car. But then, that's just me.
