met a guy on the internet - did not have pic, did not send me any pic, did not ask for my ph no., did not provide any info about his family. Asked to kiss me when we first meet the next day. Only did Instant Messaging. He is a senior executive and a Big Firm and I only knew his name. I googled him and got an article that matches his name and his position. This article says he is married with 2 kids. So I wrote to him saying what I found and if he is married then we should not meet. He replied and saying that is not the same person. I apologized, but stil he said he does not want to keep in touch. I was shocked since we were conversing and having so much fun and we had so much in common. But it scared me a little that he was coming on to me too fast. But he did agree to meet me in public. I feel terrible that someone would just cut me off like that even after I apologized.
What do you guys think? Was he abrupt? Or he has something to hide? Or was I wrong?

He is hiding his marriage. He cut contact with you because you found him out. You weren't wrong especially if he gives you no info about him personally. I'm sorry you are hurt but in the internet age it happens to a lot of people. Some people think that being online absolves you from responsibility. It is sad that cheating has become so easy, but check out anyone you are going to expend emotions on.

you want to see someone on camera before you meet, photos can be faked, stolen or old.
noone has an excuse anymore for not having a camera, you can get one for 5 bucks
