Hello,
thanks for the response and inquiries about the
puppies. They were two puppies,Lisa and Lindy.
Lisa was taken two days ago by a very loving family in
Maryland and now,Lindy is also ready to go.
Have you been wanting a great little companion
you can take anywhere? If you have been looking for
that perfect little girl-this is the one. This little
girl is 13 weeks old and weighs 2.4 lbs and will
be about 3.5 to 4 lbs in adult.Lindy is beautiful;
full fluffy hair coat; short cobby body style; ears
starting to stand. Non-shedding.Wonderful personality;
fun, playful and loving. AKC registration.loved and
socialized with people especially kids and other pets.
The best possible care in raising; Vet supervision,
quality food, all vaccinations current and regular
worming.
Below is her recent picture, and i hope you will
like
it.The puppy is a female and called Lindy, i will
like to know the following from you.
-Are you from a Christain background?
-Have you ever had a dog before?
-Do you have children and/or other pets?
-Are they well socialized with dogs and other pets?
This is just to ensure that the puppy is in save
hands and don't fell bored at one time or the other. To
have this puppy, you are only required to pay for her
shipping cost. which is $230,and my wife and i are
prepared to fly her immdiately to you in a convinient
day that you will decide.
I am from Arlington,VA and presently volunteering in
the Republic Cameroun as a missionary with the
American
Lutheran Church. So i will be shipping this puppy from
the Douala International Airport.I will gladly make
the shipping arrangements with the help of the pets'
Director of the airport if you are able to answer me
the above questions and assure me that you will be
able to provide love and care to this puppy. When i
will come back to the states in 6 months time i will
like to come take a look at the puppy.I absolutely
have no time to offer in caring for her right now
because of the nature of my job. i have many
difficulties in sending this babies to a loving home
for a couple of days now because of the nature of
things going online but i will prefer you call if you
are willing (011)237 536 6266. To have her
airportpick up,you will be required to send me your
phone number, full contact address and the name of the
nearest airport to your locality where you will pick
up the puppy with no delay as she arrives the
airprot.I will also like to know what times work for
you for the pick up,as i would not like the puppy to
arrive the airport and stay for a while before you are
able to pick her up.Well i will end here while hoping
to read from you. Happy New year.

Not only does this sound like a scam, but I'll bet if you try to import a dog from Africa, it will have to be quarantineed for a while and you will probably have to foot the bill.

You want a pooch---go to the SPCA. They have many lovable dogs wanting a good home.

It appears there is such a church - why don't you give them a call!

This email is a complete scam. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. I have no idea why people would send money without meeting the owner of the dog and the dog itself before payment, but unfortunately people do that. I have been looking for a yorkie and decided to look online for a cheaper option than a breeder. Well, I found myself emailing a lot of possible adoption contacts and in return, received emails from people in camaroon with the same exact questions and basically the same email you received. There's also others out there located in the States. I thought one was legitimate, until he gave me a faulty phone number and address. I looked up the address and it was a sewing and craft shop. I think it's always a good hint when the person you're contacting doesn't speak english very well. Now that's a tough accusation because that includes a lot of innocent people, but to be safe, it's definately safer to go through a reputable breeder aknowledged by the AKC or petfinder.com. I've had to stall my yorkie search because of this whole mess. Just whatever you do, don't send money without meeting the ownder AND the dog you want to buy.

I say 100% scam. I am trying to find a doggie and have gotten atleast 10 emails in the last 3 days similar to that. Always an AKC breed that is usually worth a lot of money and always wanting people to pay shipping and then they never see the dog. I would never recommend adopting/purchasing a dog from another country. Animals can't just come into America like that they have to be quaritined first which can take awhile. There was an article online about a woman that ended up paying $1600 for a bulldog for her boyfriend and never did see the dog.

Since in the 4th quarter the economy was still GROWING, talking about a depression is crazy. But if we did get into a depression leaving the country would do you no good. A US depression would throw the entire world into a depression. Also getting a job overseas is not easy for an American. And last but not least, living in the USA is by far the best place to be. BUT, with your attitutde maybe it would be best to leave now and avoid the rush later. I hear Dufar is lovely this time of year.

It is a scam. They will have you send them a money order for only the cost of shipping and you will never receive a puppy. People have been scamming people in newspapers now, and it is usually for Yorkies, Maltese, Chihuahuas, English Bulldogs, and French Bulldogs among other breeds. I would just try to find a breeder located near you, where you can go see the parents and the puppy before you purchase.

It is a scam, and a very common one at that. Let me guess, they are somewhere in Africa, probably Nigeria or Cameroon, want you to send a money order for shipping but the pup is free, and they are likely christian missionaries being they're from here.

Bet I'm mostly right, and I didn't even have to read your letter.

Buy a puppy from someone in your area, so you can meet them and the puppy.

If people weren't always looking to spend as little as possible, these scams wouldn't work. These dogs aren't hard to find in the US if you are willing to pay the going rate. You could also see the dog and its living conditions before you paid for it, and perhaps spare a poor dog a long unpleasant flight (if it exists).

No, it just sounds fake, Im sorry. Look else where. Why would he repeat twice that the dogs name is Lindy....I dunno, sounds very fishy. I dont believe you'll recieve a dog after you pay them first for shipping, or a healthy one.

I say look in the states for one instead.

And BTW, every scam I have ever seen has really bad spelling and grammer, this has both. This guy would also be interested in knowing about your vet records with any other animals in the house, if he were truly a caring man about his pups....
