Ive dieted from 250 to 215 from may to october in 2006 and lost about 40 lbs but after thanksgiving and the Holidays I have since then bounced back up to 225. I have trouble sticking to my diet because of all this food around. I know I could just toss it out but Im still a students and my parents eat.

Does anybody have an idea how to control your hunger? Ive already tried water but it doesnt work so well it just makes you feel empty with a bloated feeling. Or if it is some type of food that can control my hunger , something less than 200 calories would be ok, that would make me feel full or atlest for a few hours until my next meal.

also does anybody have any advice on portion control? How do you guys and gals set up your meal and how do you control your portions?

expert advice would be gladly accepted.

NO WIKIPEDIA ENTRIES. they are unacceptable. if your thinking ive already looked.

Just to show where im at right now and where i need to be.

I eat 5 meal a day probably 3-500 calories each depending on which time of day it is.

My problem is that I end up cheating on those meals like eating taekout instead of my protein shake.

I take a few supplements.

Once i get my workout started towmrrow im taking No-Explode and Cellmass.

Nice advice bella but that wont really work for me.

See im 5'7" and at 225 im technically really obese at BMI 36. something like that. Still being youth, 16 exactly, I have the potential to change right now and avoid troubles later. If I don't do anything soon, having a high blood pressure already, I could potentially lead myself into an unhealthy tract lowering my metabolism, developing heart disease, and im at risk of developing diabetes if I do not do anything soon. I really need to lose the weight "NOW",

As a person who has tried so many diets , i can tell u that diets dont really work. You might manage to lose the weight but you will put it back on.So insstead of diets, try eating a bit of everything but in appropriate amounts(this has actually worked for me.Ive lost and kept off 14 lbs for quiet a while now.
So...when it comes to keeping full, you should try eating lots of fiber... veggies(the greener the better) and fruits should do the trick,so include it in your meals. Also, when you eat, take your time and chew slowly..like count till you've chewed at least 15 times or so, you will find you'll get full sooner.
Decide ur portion size according to your activity level(REASONABLY) and after that, make sure to put on your plate only what you need and dont go for seconds.
If you feel you have to decrease portion size, start by leaving some food on your plate from your current porton sizes.Dont eat till u get stuffed, just till the hunger goes away, dont eat when youre not hungry and dont make it a habit to eat infront of the TV because you dont really pay attention to how much youre eating.
Hope it helps:)

I use those SlimFast meal bars when I am hungry. They have only 220 calories and a bunch of protein. They're pretty good too and come in a bunch of different flavors. You can also go to Subway and get one of their 6'' subs with only 6 grams of fat, just mkae sure they don't put any mustard, cheese, etc. and load up with veggies.

Try eating fruit, nuts, and vegetables along with high-protein foods such as fish and chicken. The fiber and protein will keep you full longer while also being extremely healthy for you. Since you won't experience a significant rise in your blood sugar, you also won't "crash" and become hungry again. A great site for food information: http://www.whfoods.org

To control your hunger without taking food, eat 1 apple or peanut each meal. Also go to noodles instead of grains or wheat or whichever is your menu. Bread is also a substitute. You can do it for y days without being hungry. Its like fasting. To forget about food. have activities that will draw your attention.

Try eating more meals with less food at each meal. It ends up being less food than 3 normal size meals.
