All the recovery cds I got required installation on that model computer only. So if that's the case with your cds, then no, you won't be able too. Try if you must, but whatever happens will be yours to live with (or without).

to some sence yes. but be warned its not allowed by the terms of aggrement. its possable that your cd key may become banned. (no more updates etc). make sure you got all the drivers burnt onto a cd for your computer for that windows you are using.

Depends, the only way to know for sure is if you try, has to be a dell desktop though....

Mostly NOT. They use diffrent hardware driver.
