Hi. There has been a calling on my life to full time ministry for a while. I cannot fight it any longer. I start Bible college in Sept.

My calling is to bring Christians to the truth that has been laid on my spirit. I admit, I have not gone about it in the best way and seek wisdom.

He has called me to help Christians recognize the Saturday Sabbath. The origins of the Sunday church and its corruption. The importance of celebrating the feasts (they are the L-rd's feasts, not Jewish feasts...the Bible is clear) and the importance of abandoning pagan traditions: Christmas, Easter, etc.

Grace and spirit? Yes. But when does the spirit lead you to break the law? Romans 6:1-2

I know he wants paganism out in end times!

I know this is a difficult, unpopular calling. I'd appreciate any advice from the Holy Spirit that is given to you. Not from tradition, but from the spirit & heart.

Suggestion on this? Travel? Starting one church? Starting a Saturday service at "Sunday" churches? thanks

i'm gonna have to start my response by asking you a few questions:
1. Do you think that you can classify Christ's Church by saying it is corrupt for sanctifying the wrong day? Is the Bible to be taken letterally on all accounts or are there some areas that may be taken for principle?
2. what about churches in the jungles of africa that don't have any calendar? what if they think sunday is monday? does that discount the fact that they are indigenous, prosperous, or holy Churches that belong to Christ (as He is their head)?
3. did you happen to think that the Church is a BODY of believers...a local assembly...whether they are together or not? we don't DO church on sunday, saturday, tuesday, or any other day...we ARE the church from now until the Lord's return. The New Testament believers met EVERY day. does that mean that they were sanctifying too many days?
4. do you know that Paul preached in the temple throughout the week? it was not just on the sabbath.
5. did you take algebra? that's a product of Islam, but there are many, many good Christian math teachers. do you live in the United States? we are a branch of the Roman Empire, historically. that means that we are the ancestors (again, historically) of those who crucified Christ. My point is, do you think that pagan and other "secular" traditions can't be used to glorify God if they are purified and made holy? are you going to leave our country and move to Israel (the ONLY country that God loves nationally)?
6. did you know that you "hearing" from the Holy Spirit is what's called "Special Revelation" and hasn't ACTUALLY happened since John penned the Apocalypse? God leads people, He doesn't whisper to them.

Romans 14, bud. you are going to plant a church full of weaker brothers if you go through with this without making some really big heart changes. i think i'll go ahead and avoid that one. you can come to mine someday - we're going to have superbowl parties instead of sunday evening service.

Jesus said he would send you the Holy Spirit and He would teach you all things( thoughts). Seek not the wisdom from man but from Him who is in you. Col 2:9-10 You are filled with the Godhead and seated with them at the Father's right hand. Eph 2:6
In Acts 2:4 AMP, it says that the Holy Spirit was diffused throughout our souls. John 10:4-5 , Jesus says that My sheep follow me because they know my voice(thoughts), and the voice of a stranger they will not follow but will flee from him because they do not recognize his voice(thoughts).
The Spirit in Jesus and in you fulfilled the law. He said in these last days He would write them on our hearts and inscribe them on our minds and this took place when you were born again. Heb 10:16.
You are the law. Why do you think so many people come against you ? They are coming against the law. You have the mind of Christ, listen to His thoughts and quit making excuses.
You have all things(thoughts). Use them!!!!

A spirit filled Christian is led by the Spirit, not by the law. That is why Paul asked "who has bewitched you" that you should turn from what you have learned and go back to serving the laws of the Sabbath and the feasts.
If you believe that the Holy Spirit Himself is unctioning you to put people back under the law, you believe that the Holy Spirit is devided against Himself. Do you believe that before he sinned, Adam had to be careful what he did on Saturdays?

You want the truth. Be open to hearing. David, some of the ideas that you have are not of God. Your heart is in the right place, but your knowledge is not. I suggest that you take a week sometime before September and go to a Trappist, or Benedictine monastery for a retreat. (Write to me and I can tell you of a few.) Be in the silence of God, pray with the monks. Open your heart and mind and listen. I am serious. I know you are a Fundamentalist and have said some bad things against the more formal Churches. But I still tell you to do as I have suggested above. You will come back and thank me.

Peace.

Might I suggest that you maintain a sense of humility, not only toward God but toward his other creatures as well. Do not attempt to right the wrongs of the world with your own strength. And while you are making the worship of God perfect, don't forget God's warning in the words of Amos the prophet (5:21ff):

I hate, I spurn your feasts, I take no pleasure in your solemnities; Your cereal offerings I will not accept, nor consider your stall-fed peace offerings. Away with your noisy songs! I will not listen to the melodies of your harps. But if you would offer me holocausts, then let justice surge like water, and goodness like an unfailing stream.

Who am i to say what you may have personally been convicted of by God.
having said that i believe there is a need for people to not go to Bible college and spend thousands on a degree, to go to far away places to 'spread the Gospel'. Elijah heard the voice of God in a still small voice.
maby you could consider staying where you are and just living the life that God has given you.
these are my convictions, but i can understand someone who is young, and ambitious, and wants to make there mark on the world. I'm not saying i think its wrong for you to go to college, its just that i think you should be very sure of yourself when you make this choice. i know because I'm an Licensed Nurses Assistant and i struggle with weather i should go on to become a Physicians assistant or just to get my RN.
again, who am i to tell you what to do, this is just my personal advice.

David,
Please try to understand this:

19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

That's not what I see you doing. Just read it carefully. Jesus fulfilled the law because we can't.

If you read the first chapters of Hebrews, you will find that the sabbath rest has been accomplished in Christ. Sunday does not replace the Sabbath, which is Saturday. Sunday is a new day in which we celebrate the resurrection. Our sabbath is now 7 days a week!

David, what would you say if I told you that the Sabbath is a picture of Jesus Christ? It is in HIM we rest, and we can do no "work" to add to what was done on the cross.
7th day adventists are caught up in legalism, just like the ancient Hebrews were in Jesus's day.
Christmas and Easter do have pagan roots, but I feel they have been redeemed and that today when we celebrate them we are not celebrating their origins, but rather how they relate to our Savior.
David, do you remember reading in Paul's letters "Let no man judge you on the holidays you keep?"

Interesting. I'm studying the book of Daniel. Nebukenezzar kept asking Daniel for advice. Daniel kept telling him to repent and start worshipping the one true God. The king didn't listen and ultimately spent seven years out in the wilds, eating hay like the animals.

You already ran this up the flagpole. You were told that this "mission" of yours can't possibly be from God, since His own word testifies against the things you are claiming to be true.

Heed His admonition.....this time.
