You are eating too fast,
swallowing too much air.

I believe this is called "peristolsis". It is the sound your tummy makes when it chews up the food and pushes it through the colon, etc. Yours maybe a little slower or faster than some people's but unless it causes you pain or you have unusual stool or other bowel problems it really itsn't that much of a concern. You could try peppermint tea just after meals, and try to relax for a little while after eating to help along with digestion. You might also try paying attention to what foods or activities you engage in immediately before because they may be a trigger for your noises. If all else fails, don't dispair, Winnie-the-Pooh always has a "rumbly in his tumbly" and we love him just the same!!

Those are normal "bowel sounds" during digestion. I suspect you don't eat much else during the day. Alot of people think that your stomach growls when you're hungry when actually the opposite is true. When you put food in your stomach is when the gastric juices go to work, and that's what your're hearing.
