He is pretty dang funny - he was saying something like "when you're talking to someone, and you say that 'I like children', be careful that you're not being too specific... you can't be saying 'I like twelve-year-olds'."

I think it might be Demetri Martin. He's good. I can't find that actual performance on the net (i saw it on tv), but i found some other stuff of his on i-tunes - an album of his. The 13 minute track 'jokes with guitar' is funny and has a lot of the jokes he did at the Montreal comedy festival.
(a bit later) I confirmed it as Dimitri Martin - found a site- http://captainpinhead.wordpress.com/2006/10/01/demetri-martin-quotes/ He has that quote - 'I heard this lady say “I love kids.” That’s nice, a little weird though. It’s like saying “I like people, for a little while.” “How old are you? 14? **** off!” You can say “I love kids” as a general statement, that’s fine. It’s when you get specific that you get in to trouble. “I love twelve-year-olds.” '
(a bit later again) - I just dowloaded another track from dm's album 'Some Jokes' and it has the bit about twelve year-olds.
