My favorite way to cook cornish hens is simple roasting.

Gently smear skin with butter.. sprinkle poultry seasoning (can be found in spice isle), granulated garlic, salt and pepper.

If I want to get a little fancy, I put in the cavity a little onion, celery and carrots. It adds 'flavor'. If you want to get even fancier, squeeze an orange into the cavity and then add those veggies :)

roast uncovered for time and temp indicated on packaging.

Good luck.. sounds yummy.

Cornish hens are very easy to fix. Clean, rub with margarine or spray with butter flavored Pam. Season with salt, pepper, anything else you like (garlic/onion powder) and put in a baking bag as directed on the bag's box. Bake till done. YUMMY!

Rub with butter or olive oil, roll in pepper & herbs (thyme, rosemary, and oregano are nice). Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees
