We need to work on your understanding of evolution. The latest scientific conclusion is:
We did not evolve from Monkeys; we evolved from ground squirrels. Proof: They were the only mammals who could have possible survived the great Ice Age. - (Warm and fuzzy down in their burrows, plus their died was -- roots, wet or dry, new or old.

Science doesn't conflict with the Bible and the Bible doesn't conflict with science.
If you sit down an analyze things you see they say basically the same thing.
Under Science in the begining there was a simple form a life. A single cell.
Under religion there was one human, a single man.
From BOTH of these ALL HUMAN LIFE came about.
Science in the begining there was a singularlity and it created light and mass and matter and the universe in a brilliant flash of light.
Religion, in the beginging there was God, a singluarlity and he created light and mass and masster and the universe with a brillaint flash of light.
If you play with numbers and work with Dr. Carl Sagan's Cosmic Calendar, you find that the Universe is 30 days old and man came about in the first minute of the last day of the first month and it's only been a few minutes since then that we've been around.
Under Genesis, God created the world in 6 days and man was the last thing and then God rested on the 7th day.
So the means man COULD have been created in the last few seconds of that 6th day.
If you do your division using 14.5 billioins years for the age of the universe you come up with the same figure of time for man to be on Earth 1 - 2 millioin years.
It works with Gensis and with Dr. Sagan.
Sagan says a month. Genesis says a week.
Sagan says the first moments of the last day.
The Bible says it was the last moments of the 6th day or day before the end of the week.
The time lines are so close they squeek.
Work the numbers out in minutes yourself. 14.5 billion years a 30 day month, the FIRST MINUTE of the 30th day for Sagan and the LAST MINUTE of the 6th day for God.
Go work the numbers and you'll see they match, almost identically.
Now, go to a country with MONSOONS like Vietnam.
How much GEOLOGICAL DAMAGE is done each year by three months of solid rain.
Does it totally change the face of Vietnam each year!
Do we have to re-do the topopgraphical maps of Vietnam each year!
For the flood to have a geological impact it would have to exist for thousands of years to leave a mark.
40 days would not leave an apprecialble mark.
Jesus restored life with a touch of his hand.
HAve you NOT heard of CPR.
Now.
YOU go back 2,000 years and do CPR on a person with the right kind of a heart attack who had not breathed in 5 minutes and WATCH THEM KISS THE GROUND you walk on when you bring him back to life.
The big thing is, Jesus did it 2,000 years ago and we couldn't do it 100 years ago.
Jesus walked on water
Who is to say Science won't find a method to do the same thing in another 2,000 years.
We KNOW for a fact there is SURFACE TENSION, we just don't know how to work with the physics yet.
Soddom and Gommorah was reduced to ashes with a blinding light.
What did we do to Hiroshima and what are the residuals effects we see today.
Hiroshima still exists. Do you see any scars 50 years later from the A Bomb after the rebuilding.
After 5,000 years could we detect an A-Bomb blast somewhere in the Middle East.
Was it an A bomb or does God have an even better weapon!
God SAID man could be as Gods if he had eternal life. After the thousands of years of our science we are SCRATCHING the surface do to our MORTAILITY.
Jesus said we could do what he did. He had a disciple WALK ON WATER, but only for moments.
God and Jesus are telling us about our Potential, but we just can't make it happen.
We are our own worst enemies.
Einstein says:
The situation may be expressed by an image: science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.

The bible was written by a man!Us Humans have an overwhelming desire to believe in SOMETHING,no matter what it is.We just want to believe! And every so often someone(s) writes a bible,or Quaron to get the masses thinking along those lines.
Truth is religion is all made up b.s..Furthermore science seems to be on the right path with the evolution theory, but there is probably many pieces to the puzzle of human origin still shrouded in mystery and perhaps we'll never know for sure.

Science always had a conflict with the Bible. But remember, Bible always change to suit Scientific fact for centuries.
For your question, maybe God created the monkey, then changed the monkey a bit so it becomes a human?

There is no conflict. The Earth and all her creatures, even those that resembled man, had been here for eons. The idea that the Earth is only 7000 years old is not suggested in the Bible. If you read Genesis 1:1 you see that God created "the heaven and the earth". In verse 2 we see that this same earth is now "without form, and void". God doesn't create anything "without form and void" so we know that something happened to the Earth between verse 1 and verse 2. How many eons passed and what evolved here during all that time? And what happened to destroy all that was here? Science has many of those answers.
But why haven't they found the "missing link"? Because there is no missing link. That link is God and He has not been missing anything except those who will seek Him and the truth.
Read Acts 2:38 to see what He has for us in terms of promise, power, and grace today.

to answer your question, yes. science conflicts with the bible. a great flood really happend, nothing close to 40days and nights but it DID happen eons ago in the middle east. sciencs says the earth is 4 billion or so years old, the bible says a few thousand. the bible says clouds are formed by god's footsteps as he walks away, science says clouds are formed by condensation of water vapor.... there's really too many to count. not that any of it matters anyway, the bible isnt meant to be taken literaly; some people just like to look at it that way and miss the point behind the words.

god does not exist Both god and bible were fabricated by man to answer universal questions that at the time we had no knowledge of the correct answer. Education, knowledge and research will prove this to be correct. Perhaps deep with in our brains we have an area that god religion and the here after are stored and thought about, but that doesn't give credence to the reality - just by thinking doesn't make is so. In Christianity - Jesus is everything In Judaism the idea of one god is considered justification but who has physically been touched by god vs. feeling gods involvement do to ones own mind game. Say Puff and now we see the devil or say look into the mirror and say we see the devil - with the absence of god - say hello to monkey breath

Name anyone other than dishonest creationists who claims that humans evolved from monkeys.
That is not the scientific position, as every educated person knows.
Since all gods are imaginary, and humans did not evolve from monkeys, you might want to do a little more research on the topic.

I don't know if it is wrong to do this, but I want to re-post an answer I gave to an earlier, similar question - with a couple of additions.
A couple of funny facts about creationists:
- As a fetus every one of them had gills and a tail.
- Their DNA, suite of thousands of proteins and biochemical reactions, cellular organization and division are essentially identical (and in no way superior) to, say, rats, bananas, or even amoebas (all eukaryotes). Why do you think we use lab rats for human medicine?
- They are classified as "Primates" :
Please please please look up these taxonomical categories and see how humans (creationists) fit into every one of them. Then please think about the implications of just this for at least a half an hour. Keep in mind that the model of evolution is similar to a shrub where existing species are on the branch tips and extinct species are lower down the branch. As you read down this list, imagine working your way up from the base of the stem, along our branch, to the human leaf on the shrub (every single living species of plant, animal, fungi, bacteria, and protist is represented as a leaf on the shrub with a similar list).
Domain: Eukarya
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Subphylum: Vertebrata
Class: Mammalia
Subclass: Eutheria
Order: Primates, once again that's Primates
Suborder: Anthropoidea
Family: Hominidae
Genus: Homo
Species: Homo sapiens
(Individual: you, me, George Bush, etc.)
Now understand that our DNA corresponds exactly with this model - independently. These categories were defined before DNA was understood, based on morphology. Yet, degrees of similarity in DNA sequences correspond exactly with the branch lengths of this morphological model. If you don't believe me, please look it up in real, peer-reviewed sources (e.g. science or nature). You can also Google the term "molecular clock". If you don't understand how the molecular clock works, ask about it on Yahoo Answers in the Biology section (where evolution belongs - we don't debate physics and chemistry in the Religion and Spirituality section). I'll watch for a question.
To say, "I didn't come from [a common ancestor with] apes!" is similar to saying "I don't have to breath air!"
As for the flood - use some common sense: Where did all the water come from? Where did it go? What about plants - they can't survive flooding?
I guess creationists believe that even the National Geographic Society is brainwashed and leading us away from God. Hopefully, all creationists will soon be in the same category as the Amish.
Maybe I'll just keep adding to this and re-posting it.
Nice mammaries, btw.

Evolution actually has scientific evidence, while the concept that God created us is really quite unrealistic. Obviously, evolution contradicts the bible.
