I think they're all the same. I've tried them all too and it just doesn't seem to get those straglers. A beauty salon supposedly has better products. I've only done that once due to the cost. I don't recall it truly being any better. Highlights can help a bit, though it's hard to tell based on your coloring and your hair color choice. Good Luck...remember sometimes the little bit of gray is just who we are. You've earned each and every one of them! Don't sweat it.

Your best bet is always to go to a hairdresser, but if you are doing it at home, the Garnier permanent hair color that comes with the highlights works quite well. Don't use blonde to cover gray though. It will not last very long. I'm not sure why, I just know it doesn't last.

oh my goodness you HAVE to try Robert Craig hair dye. You can get it online, so search the web for it. It is the one and ONLY hair dye that would dye my bleached hair, and it does not fade. Not only that, it does not smell, is permanent, and about 10 dollars a box. Please try it it has always been reliable for me.

if you are attempting to do this by yourself then don't......go and have your hairstylist do it for you.....that way the color will stay in and be permanent
