Is this like a ship in a bottle question? How did the glasses get into the bottle in the first place. Now that they are in there, how do you get them out?

Hmmmm ... maybe I misread this ... let me get my glasses .... doh!

Seriously a typical dry red or white wine (13% abv) has about 18-20 calories per ounce, and champagne about 22-24 calories per ounce. A sweet wine, one with a higher alcohol content, or a fortified wine ... like a port (20% abv and high sugar level) will have as much as 45 calories per ounce.

A proper pour is usually about 5 ounces, giving a scant 5 glasses per bottle. But a pour could be 4 or even 3 ounces depending on how many courses are being served for the meal. A typical dessert wine or port pour is between one and a half and two ounces.

80 calories a glass or 90 depending on white or red.depends on the wine bottle size too - usually 5 glasses of wine and you dont fill the glasses all the way up either so it can breathe

My first thought was to say ONE. But, seriously -

As a general rule, you can figure five glasses per bottle of wine.

Wine, although it contains no fat, is a source of calories due to its sugar and alcohol content. The number of calories in a glass of wine will vary depending on grape variety, climate, vintage and style, all of which affect the amounts of alcohol and sugar in the wine. About 110 to 120 calories.

A standard serving of wine is four ounces. Divide that into the number of ounces in the particular bottle you're concerned with. As for calories - it varies with the type of wine - some have more than others.
