I don't think so. Several years ago National Geographic had a show on tv, about someplace in ( I think ) South America. They said carbon monoxide is orderless, and it showed a place where all kinds of animals died from lack of oxygen. Birds, and several small mammals. A giant (Kimodo dragon) type lizard went there to eat on a carcass of a dead deer and almost died, but managed to get away. Based on this I would say no, dogs cannot detect carbon monoxide.
