We constantly hear from the fundamentalists that we have to put God back into the classroom or other places. How can we lowly human beings take God out of any place that He wants to be? It's absurd. If God wants to be in the classroom, then I figure He's gonna be there.

Free will???? If you have free will and ask God to come visit with you in the classroom, won't he come? Does he have to have the entire class ask him to come? Does He have to have the Ten Commandments on the wall before He will come?

You know, one of the interesting things about this question is that it doesn't seem to divide people. Fundamentalists seem to appreciate the idea that God cannot taken out of any place that He wishes to be. And mainstream Christians denominations seem comfortable with this idea. And even non-Christians seem to be comfortable with the idea that God will be wherever He wants to be.

Oh, sure, they'll be a few bitter angry people who will say that our classrooms are all godless dens of inequity, but by and large this is not an idea that divides people much. I kinda like that.

There are no gods anywhere. You don't have to take him out.

Of course you can't take God out of anywhere. He is everywhere. It is just that He is silent, He lets man go on his way and we can see where that has lead. Kids shooting kids, drugs in schools, sex acts in schools. That is what the atheists have done for our kids. Yeah you guys are smart alright. The school system of today is the ungodly way and it is failing. Kids are in danger in the classroom. Things like this never happened years ago. Kids were taught right from wrong and God was there for them.

It is a figure of speech. Like taking biology out of the school means that biology is no longer going to be taught there anymore.

So putting God back means starting to learning about, put attention on, read about, study, etc God.

Yes. And if people want to keep Him out, the Christians can take Him there or anywhere.

You're being overly simplistic.

The question is 'Where is God?'

The answer is - 'Wherever you let Him in'

Its not about God's perspective - S/He is and always will be omniscient.

Its about the space we make for God from our perspective.

(No particular religion or belief system implied here - I'm just dealing with your question on face value.)
