I'm talking specifically about politics here.

I just don't understand what the Jesus freaks (aka Evangelicals aka the Christian Right) want from the US government that they don't already have?

You already have the right to worship freely and love Jesus as you choose.
You have the right to pray anywhere you want. Including in school.
You don't have to get abortions if you don't want to.
You are free to worship as you choose.

So what more do you want?

Why do you want to pass laws forcing other people to obey Christianity? Can't you understand that not everyone is a Christian and not everyone wants to live by your Christian rules?

Why do you have to force your opinions upon other people?

Why can't you just do your thing and leave the rest of us alone?

Please explain this to me, because I just don't get it.

All I see is you trying for force your opinions on people who just don't want it. I don't care what you do. It's your life. Just don't tell me what to do.

Your question has validity but you have no right to insult anyone.

this Jesus freak can not accept the fact that people want to kill babies,i do not want to force my faith on you and i do understand that christians would love to help you to avoid hell but i also agree if thats what you want its your right to do so /hell is not where im going and would be hard for me hard to see anyone in hell asking for a drink of water but some people insist thats their right and i must agree/ when they had prayer in schools there was no children taking guns to school to kill each other with although i do pray that you could come out of the darkness and into the light its your choice God gave you that right

you cant deny what is true.
everyone that says that the Lord God is not real.
you cant deny what is true.
everyone who blames Christians for 'shoving there religion down there throats'.
you cant deny whats true.
this nation was founded on christian principals, every thing established to govern us was founded on christian principals.
but don't worry, give it 5-10 years (if that) and you will have your godless world.
so what is it that YOU want? hmm?

Here's a story that seems wrong to me. There was a girl in my confirmation group who wanted one of her public school teachers to be her confirmation sponsor. She wasn't sure if she was Catholic or not. She had to schedule an appointment outside of school just to ask her teacher if she was Catholic or not, and that just seems wrong to me.
