It's possible to infatuated with someone so much that you feel intimidated around, normally from nerves incase youd o something silly around them, or because you feel they're better than you

Sure,, they can be infatuated with you and yet keep their distance because of being intimidated by things about you. You can start to be friends with the person and eventually, hopefully, they will no longer be intimnidated by you.

I think so. It's like when you love a wrestler but you think that if you get to clse they will just crush you but oyu love them sooo much. maybe that's a bad example but I know what you're saying and I think's possible.
