a suggestion, before sticking to a religion, read into different religions. I don;t thing religions are meant to be changed that often. What you are looking for is socks. Read into different religions, and I mean the Three major ones Christianity, Judism and Islam.

That is what I dead, I read different kind of books, about all the three religions, I forgot that I was born christian, I made sure that the decision I am gonna make wont be affected by my friends, family, parents, or media. Think of it this way. There is only one GOD for all these religions. He wants to be worshiped in a certain way. You have to pick one, and not the easiest or the most convenient, because it is you behind.

So to sum up, read alot, detach urself from any general beliefs, attitudes, or experience. Judge the logic. and the good thing is now you can find books about Christianity Vs Islam, or becoming a Christian or a Jew.

Sounds pretty wishy washy.
If you want to go back to being christian you can it is up to you.
There had to be reasons for you to jump from christianity to something else.
If you were not happy with it before why would you be now?
I used to be a christian i was born into such.
Then later my mother decided she wanted to be mormon -puking-.
So i also became mormon.
I did not care for that religion it was ok at first but the more i got involved the worse i felt[like puking]sickening.
Now i do not believe in any religion.
My step father is into metaphysics,he got me into different things.
I read some wiccan books i thought i might get into that but it didn't stick was not really for me.
I started reading some other stuff some things sounded gewd at first,i thought maybe i could get into that stuff make it my belief, but nothing stuck could not really get into anything.
Now i enjoy reading religions here and there finishing half of the books i buy or borrow from the library.
I do have some beliefs though, some i got from different religions some i just came to from within.
Sounds like you want something to believe in to fill a certain void.
It is nice to have some religion to guide you some belief to believe in,but religion swapping can leave ya empty.
I would read around give new things some though instead of going back to things that did not work before.
Why not give Tao a try??
Whether you believe in tao or not you still can gain and learn from it.
Tao has a ton of fun, confusing philosophies.

When people see beauty, they think, "that's beautiful".
Thinking of something as beautiful makes you think other things are ugly.
Calling something "good" forces you to call some other things "evil."

The ideas "difficult" and "easy" support each other.
"Long" and "short" define each other.
"High" creates "low"
"Tone" creates "noise"
"Before" creates "after"
"Have" creates "don't have"

This is why the Sage acts without effort and teaches without words.
New things are created and the Sage just accepts them.
Things fade away and the Sage accepts that too.

A Sage can have things without feeling they "own" them.
The Sage does things without putting an emotional stake into the outcome.
The task is accomplished, but the Sage doesn't seek credit or take pride in the accomplishment.
Because the Sage is not attached to the accomplishment, the accomplishment lasts forever.

All faiths ultimately are paths to reach GOD, the most important thing is to be chaste in thoughs and deeds. The best thing is to believe in GOD spiritualy rather than religiously.

God is faithful to forgive if we ask. That's one of the lessons (though not the main lesson) of the prodigal son. The Father sees him from afar off and runs out to welcome him home. I think that's a beautiful illustration of God's love for us and His desire for all to return to Him.

You were not really a christian to begin with or you would not have left in the first place.

Yeah, Christianity accepts all applicants. If Hitler was alive and wanted to be Christian I am sure they would even take him.
