Drink tea. Not through a straw! It's sucking and spitting that you want to avoid. And save the tea bag! If the extraction site continues to ooze you can use it as a compress to stop the bleeding.

Once the cotton packing is out you should be fine to drink tea. Just go light on the sugar, don't drink anything through a straw, and rinse with salt water after you eat or drink anything.

You should be able to drink the first day with no problems. If you are feeling discomfort I would wait an extra day but since it is liquid, a few hours after the extraction is sufficient. If you're still numb just be careful not to bite your cheek. Hope all heals well.

You can drink tea any time, it will help reduce bleeding. It is frequently recommended to put a tea bag on the site to help control bleeding.

well, if you just had a tooth pulled...you should follow the dentist instructions. If you are drinking tea, as long as you dont use a straw you should be fine, just rinse your mouth afterwards.
