I'm a 22 year old female. I've been pretty in active since high school and have really put on some weight. I'd like to lost about 50 pounds. I'm out of shape and have a bad diet. Can someone help or guide me in the right direction? I'd like to be able to run and not get tired easily. I'd also like to be able to be able to go out to eat or whatever with my friends occasionally. I need help!

you need to start out slow. find someone that can be a workout buddy, basically someone who is willing to go out and walk with you. as far as being able to go out and eat whatever with your friends you can. one of the things you can do is ask for a to-go-box to be brought out with your food and then put half of your order in the take-out box. that way you're not tempted to eat the whole thing in one sitting but you're still able to "eat what you want" the trick is moderation.
another thing you might try doing is circuit training. it's a really easy and inexpensive way to get in a really good workout. as you build up your stamnia you can start running more.
if you just want to start running find a good running track to do it. walk the straights and jog the curves for about a mile (increasing the milage every week). try to work up to 3-4 times a week (taking at least one day off in between)
then jog the straights and walk the curves at the milage you stopped at. that will help build up your stamnia and speed.
when you feel comfortable with that increase the distance you jog and decrease the distance you walk.
on the days you're not running try to find some kind of weight-training routine to do. (lean muscle burns more calories than fat)

1. Do cardio 4 days a week for about 10 to 20 minutes each workout.
2. In two weeks do cardio 4 days a week for 30 to 40 minutes each session. If you want you can do one day of 30 minutes, then the next at 40, then 30, then 40.
3. Add a resistance workout into your schedule that will help add more muscle and burn fat. 3 to 4 days a week is good.
4. Lower your carb intake and watch the kinds of foods you're eating. Stay away from fried foods, don't eat too much bread, and watch too much fatty foods, like cake, soda, crackers, fast food, pizza, etc.
