Okay lets say a group of your friends asked you to go to a school dance,but your boyfriend isn't going should you still go or do you not go cause your boyfriend can't make it?

I'd go. He'll only stay mad for a short while and why should you miss out on the fun. He's testing you to see if you'll go. Let him know you have a mind of your own and you plan on going. You are only young once. Maybe he'll change his mind if he knows you are going.

Depends on what is the reason that your boyfriend refused to go. If you found the reason valid, then go and have fun yourself and your friends. If he's not going just because he thinks it is pointless while he knows that you really wants to go (esp. with him), then go to the dance with someone else.
