Plus I find it takes my time away from God, I guess that is how Satan gets in our minds. There have been too many rude twerps for me to even to even bother with. The rudest people in the word are here on this systen, that is why I am now going to full my mind with good things now, and Christians you should too. I just want to let you now before I go, Jesus is coming back very, very soon. God is not going to let the world go on for much longer like this, it is far to evil. Christians If you are saved and I am saying if, because I do not know what you do in the other times when you don't go to church, I will see you in Heaven as the rapture is not to far away. I can just about hear the footsteps of Yeshua can't you? God bless you, and please of you stay in this system do not listen to nasty people who want to make fun of your faith.

I will not be on here anymore, Christians if you want your mind filled with good things you have to hang around good things, not things that are going to drag you down. Remember God said"Vengence is mine says the Lord, and I will repay" He sure will.

No rapture

Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6

33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

I am not leaving quite yet, however I have a story to tell you if you have never heard it before.

Sometime in 1996, I was studing about Simeon and Anna.
Simeon was the priest and anna the priestess.
They had been told by God that they would not die before they saw the Messiah.

At the moment I read those words, a voice spoke to me and said, 'That is the same promise that I have for you. You will not die before you see me'.

It was a sobering thought, I might be one of those who is translated in the twinkle of an eye into a new and perfect body, and on my way to be with the Lord in the heavens.

Three years later, I was at a pastor's conference and while eating at a table with 7 other ministers, I related the story above to them, not knowing how they would react.
As soon as I told the story, one of the pastors asked me, 'When did this happen', and I told him the month and year that I had this experience.
He told me that he had a similar word from the Lord about the same time as the one I heard.
Then two others at the table said that they had a similar word about the same time that I did.

Eight of us sitting around the table, and half of us had the same experience at about the same time.

Every Rosh Hashanah I wait to see if this is the year that He will return for His church.
It hasn't happened yet, but I am 69, and I am not getting younger.

If this will happen in my lifetime, I expect it in the next few years.

Beside, look at what is happening in the middle east. The forces for Armageddon are almost assembled.

Paul says that we should engage in the battle if our faith is strong enough, but if you are losing your faith it is time to step aside and rebuild it.

grace2u, I wish you much success in whatever you do.

I heard one of those self-help types on the radio once talking about how people deal with hate. I usually don't listen real hard to the pitch of a guy who is trying to sell me books or "systems," but he said something that really seemed to turn on a light (no, I did not buy his book after that). He said that when someone hates you or derides you, that the bad feeling you get is you hating the person for hating you. It is you "hating back." The more Christian thing to do would be to allow the person to hate or deride to beat against air. Forgive the person for hating, but do not join in the hating with him or her.

The resentment that people feel when they are made fun of or made the target of hatred is but a mirroring of that hatred, a seed of evil sown in the heart of the target. It does neither party any good at all. So, go if you must, but do not hate the taunters. Just feel sorry for them.

sorry you feel that way, I love the lord but to be the way you are now its a bit odd man. Not everyone is a rudy. Besides one of the biggest lessons is to turn the other cheek, so go on turn it.
don't go spouting off about revelations and the rapture because of Yahoo answers this is nothing in here. Have you lived in the real world??? take it easy. I know youre stll looking to see what peeps say. thats it.

Are you committing suicide or something? There are still good things in this world. You have to decided to focus on the positive and cope with the negative. It's hard and fustrating, but can be just as rewarding if not more. It's up to you!!

And don't you have any family or something, other than posting on yahoo answers, there are christian forum and threads out there you know. . .
And you didn't ask a question!!!

Leanne: Do not "grow weary of well-doing" ! I know there is lots of religious bashings of Christians and other faiths. Remember though, Christ assured you, as a Christian, that persecution and ridicule will be a hugh part of the Christian calling. "Forgive them Father ... for they do not know what they do", were the dieing words of Jesus Christ on the cross. Leanne; God has not called everyone to salvation now - in this life. If He had, they would understand and know what you and I do; therefore, there would be no "put downs" nor persecutions from them. Above all - USE THIS EXPERIENCE TO GROW SPIRITUALLY FROM !!!

Spelling error - it's not "full my mind", it's "fool my mind".

Seriously, this sitting around wishing for the world to end is the sickest thing I've ever heard of. Actually hoping for some huge disaster so you can be carted off to some fantasy paradise is the most depraved, self-centered philosophy I can imagine. I can't think of anything more "evil" than being in favor of some sort of global suicide.

i am sorry to hear that you cant commit to being a staunch soldier in Gods army ,running is not the proper way Jesus was persecuted and said we would be too,Jesus never ran! He might have been meek but He certainly wasnt weak people are always going to try your faith but be strong in the Lord its very possible that one day you could reach someone for Him,He never said this would be easy but just the opposite you should never be so insecure in your faith in Him

Yes, I hear you. But I refuse to be bullied by a bunch of godless, ignorant and low life people. There are many good people on this site both Christian and atheists. I have learnt to ignore the fools. God Bless and do what you must do.
