Hi. I admit there has been a calling on my life to full time ministry for a while. I denied it but can no longer. I start Bible college in September.
My calling is to bring Christians to the truth that has been laid heavy on my spirit. I admit, I have not gone about it in the best way and seek wisdom.
He has called me to help Christians recognize the Saturday Sabbath. The origins of the Sunday church and its corruption. The importance of celebrating the feasts (they are the L-rd's feasts, not just Jewish feasts...the Bible is clear) and the importance of abandoning the pagan traditions: Christmas, Easter, Sunday worship, saints, statues, idols, etc.
I know he wants these things out!
I know this is a difficult, unpopular calling. I'd appreciate any advice from the Holy Spirit that is given to you. Not from tradition, but from the spirit and heart.
So, suggestion on doing this? Travelling? Starting one church? Starting Saturday service at a Sunday church? thanks

Esther I take G-d's word more seriously than Pauls opinions. I know Paul is easier to follow. But people use it for an excuse to live out of the will of G-d. I love grace, but He loves obediance, remember. It IS a commandment...did He make a mistake??

Summer if you get me a verse where G-d approves the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, I'll give you $100,000

Summer...that confirms my point!
Jewish days end at sundown not midnight. So as the Sabbath ended, the 1st day of the week had almost begun.

That's great about the feasts. There is so much there!!!! About the Sabath. I'm not so sure the actual day really matter. Remember when Jesus and the disciples ate grain from a field on the Sabath and all the other things they did on the Sabath. The Pharisees were really angry. Jesus always said, "Man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath for man." It is true that the Jews held it on Saturday. But, to fight for that specific day is only to continue the legalism that Jesus fought against. Jesus took a lot of the laws the Jews were living by and taught them the heart behind them- taught them the Spirit behind those laws. For example the Sabbath was meant for man to set aside a day to rest and worship God. I work in a church so I take my Sabbath day during the week- in line with God's seventh day- a day for rest.
As for advice in what to do with these convictions- maybe spend time looking at what churches are out there and join a denomination that fits with your theology- I'm sure there is one.

Is your last name Koresh? Seems to fit...
Anyways. Yes, the feasts are for all people--FOR THEIR ORIGINAL PURPOSE. Pesach is about G-d leading the Jewish people out of slavery. It is for Jews but can be celebrated by anyone who has ever been delivered out of hardship. It is NOT to remember J*sus' last supper. Shavuot commemorates the time when the first fruits were brought to the Temple and also Moses receiving the Torah (all of it) at Mt. Sinai. It is also for Jews since it was the Jews G-d originally gave the Torah to, but can be celebrated by anybody who has ever been given an amazing gift in their lives or been blessed with bounty. It is NOT to remember the disciples receiving the Holy Spirit!! Chrstians have their OWN holidays to remember these things and for good reason too, because the early Chrstians realized that copying the Jewish festivals and putting new meaning to them is a perversion of the Word G-d put in the Torah. You said the Bible is quite clear--well, it is! These holidays and feasts are celebrated for G-d's ORIGINAL INTENDED purpose, not for things that happened looong after the Torah.
What you are trying to do is change the Bible, and in that effect you are trying to change the holy words of G-d. You are ignoring the Tanakh where it says "no letter of the law shall be changed" for you are doing just that, trying to change the laws. It's as if you're taking a black marker to the scrolls and crossing out the things you don't like and putting in the things you want to observe. What you are trying to do is a perversion of G-d's Holy Torah, His greatest gift to us besides life, and G-d will take his vengeance on you. I'll pray for your soul. Peace.

Celebrating the Sabbath on Saturday (the last day of the week) is according to the OT - not the new. When Christ died and rose from the cross, He rose on the 1st day of the week, thus, the Sabbath being on Sunday, the first day of the week instead of the 7th. Christ fulfilled that when He rose from the cross. The Roman Catholics deny the OT and thus, the reason why they celebrate the Sabbath on the 7th day instead of the first. They don't recognize Christ's death and resurrection (his resurrection being on the first day of the week).
Matthew 28:1 - In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
Acts 20:7 - And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the mororw; and continued his speech until midnight.
In response to your statement (additional details), I have just found the verses that pertain to your statement - read 'em and weep. The days of the week weren't named until centuries later, so you will NOT find 'Saturday, Sunday, Monday,', etc. in the bible. Looks like you owe me $100,000 bud.
In response to what you said afterwards, no it does NOT confirm your point. Christ's death does NOT pertain to the Jewish Sabbath, but the Christian Sabbath - ALL Christ's followers - those born again in Christ. When Christ was resurrected from the grave, He did so on the 1st day of the week. The Jews, even today, STILL celebrate their sabbath from sundown Friday to sunup on Saturday, which is the 7th day of the week - NOT the first day, as I had mentioned. Read those verses again.
Throughtout the book of Hebrews, it speaks about the New Covenant in Christ - He fulfilled the old traditions and customs of the OT (blood sacrifices, burnt offerings, etc). Also, in the commandment, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy", it means God hallowed the 7th day as a day of rest. Christ entered into HIS rest on the 1st day of the week when He died on the cross.
Do you NOT remember Good Friday, the day that Christ was crucified??
He rose on the third day, the morning of the 1st day of the week.

David - you are seeking to re-establish the Bible by ignoring the Bible. By what calling are you deciding to overrule the verses you choose to overrule? By what calling are y ou choosing to ignore the 4th commandment to obey the authorities?
You have established a beautiful ministry here based on your gracious spirit - which you now opt to abandon for antagonism?
You suggest the Holy Spirit and heart for advice, yet void the tradition which also holds both.
Difficult, unpopular? Who cares as Christians we know we may be called to such things.
May God go with you to college, but more importantly,, may you go with God.

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.. To enter His rest, abide in Christ 24/7.
Let the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth 1John 2:27. The rest is resting in Christ. It is when we are born of God, redeemed by the blood, and abide in Christ. Study His Word and renew your mind in His Word.
All the Holy Days are significant. The devil just tried to steal all of Gods Holy Days one way or another.
Have a bible study on Saturday. Go to a Christian church on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday. It doesn't matter. Faith comes by hearing and hearing a word about Christ / God.
Get in touch with God 1st thing in the morning in your prayer closet. Seek God and you will find God. Pray in spirit & truth, for this is how the Father God would have us pray.
The new covenant is following after the Spirit and not so much of the letter. There could be great verses in there, but if the Holy Spirit leads you to go to a church on a certain day, you should go that day. If the Spirit directs you to stay home on a certain day, you should stay home. We are not under the law of sin and death, we are under grace.
Don't criticize others for going to church on a day that you don't think they should go on. You are trying to be more righteous by going on what you think is the best day, and that is self righteousness. When we are redeemed by Grace, we put on Christ Righteousness, and nothing we do or don't do will change that. What we do is based on our understanding of who we are in Christ. We do what we believe Christ wants us to do, because we are made the righteousness of Christ.
I go to church on Sunday at the church the Lord delivered me miraculously from a total breakdown. I am still healed. Why would I go to a different church to please someone to not go to my home church on a Sunday. I am not bowing to the beast. The whole idea of this religious self righteousness is rooted in self righteous pride.
I am saved by Grace and not by trying to be more righteous. I am already made the righteousness of Christ. I go to Sunday Church because that is what Christians do. I go other days of church too, as the Lord leads.

Okay dude. You probably haven't noticed that you are all over the map. Get a hold of yourself.
Just stay in the word. Go to Bible college, and learn all the time. All the stuff that you are talking about after that seems pretensive. Start with today. And tomorrow, live tomorrow. Keep yourself open to the Lord of Hosts. He designed your days. I didn't, and you certainly seem to be trying, but you didn't.

The sabbath is not a particular day. The sabbath is the seventh day of YOUR work week. The sabbath is a day of rest which is dedicated to GOD or a day of the Lord.
Ask and you shall receive.

Oh dear. I do hope you get into that bible college fast. It will help you see this self proclaimed task of yours is not from God at all. The bible clearly teaches...one man holds one day above another, another man does not. Not to judge anyone on the holy days they keep.
Get thee quickly to a bible teaching church before you get too far down this mistaken path!
