Ok, I'm in 8th grade. I'm not saying that I would, but just out of curiosity...if I were to right a book and publish it in 9th grade...took all the AP classes I could throughout highschool and aced all of them, and got a 7 on all of the exams.....was varsity in track, cross country, and skiing....scored a 2355 on the SATs, started a political club, was in four other clubs, and did 200 hours of community work....Do you think that would get me into Harverd or Yale...

Yale maybe. The other school might insist you spell their name correctly.

Certainly the kind of applicant you describe would have many college choices, but there is no set of personal accomplishments or talents which will assure you admission to Harvard, Yale or a similarly selective institution. Take challenging courses, work hard in school, prepare well for standardized tests, and participate in activities you enjoy (not in those you think will impress colleges) and you'll like the higher education options which present themselves to you.

Websites like www.college-scholarships.com can point you to lots of information about college preparation, college admission, and individual colleges and universities.

you really never know the school is so selective and in 8th grade you wont have much idea what schools you can get into, oh yeah good luck on the whole 7 on the AP exams and i would check to see if harvard even accepts those because many dont, also dont get ahead of yourself

They don't really look at stuff you do in the 8th grade but if you could that in 9th through 12th without fail and got straight A's you would have a pretty good chance of making it but get one little c and your screwed

Let's see. You want to "rite" a book in order to help you to get into "Harverd". I don't think it will help your chances.

I don't think getting 7's on exams that are graded from 1 to 5 will help you either.

One important recommendation - spell Harvard correctly! They won't like 'Harverd'.
George Bush went to Yale, didn't seem to make him very eloquent...
