It is what you make of it. Your purpose and mine may be entirely different, in fact they probably are. I wish you luck in finding yours.

After many millions of birth we finally take birth as a human being. Only as a human being we are equipped with a full capacity brain. If we don't give good use to our human brain then we go back to an animal body. As humans it is our duty to enquire about the higher goal of life. For many the higher goal of life is to have economic development so the eating, sleeping, mating and defending activities can be improved. These activities are already being carried out by the animals so they become sophisticated animals. The real goal of life is to get to know, approach and serve the Supreme.

The sole purpose of this birth is to make preparation for spiritual rebirth: to develop spiritual qualities of our soul to reflect the image of God in all His worlds.

First, to be happy and have the causes of happiness by doing all the good act like generosity and live a ethical conduct, etc, love people without discriminatiing them, then stop doing bad deeds like stealing, killing (even an insect), intoxicated that will bring suffering and the causes of suffering.

Then help people as much as you can as they do wish to have happiness and avoid suffering as you do.

Human beings are created to know God. He instilled in us a thirst that will not be satisfied until we reach out to Him for companionship and love. Paul wrote in Philippians 3:8 (NAS), "More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ."
We were created to have an intimate, loving relationship with the Lord? and to bring Him glory. Paying respect with our gifts and good works is a natural extension of that design. But our primary responsibility is to spend time with Him.

In all honesty I believe we serve no purpose except to kill others around us and eventually ourselves.
