Islam means "PEACE" and it also means "SUBMITTING YOUR WILL TO GOD". If you concatenate the two meanings, it becomes -
" Peace acquired by submitting your will to GOD"
All those who have been blinfolded by media and Know NOTHING about Islam but just terms like 'Jihad', 'Terrorism' etc please try to read about Islam from authentic sources.
First of all, Jihad means struggle. And it means to struggle against your desires and lusts. It also means to stand for the Truth. One of the shades of the meaning is to fight in a war when there is opression against you.
The whole world is on the look out for peace and salvation. You will ONLY find salvation if you follow what your Creator wants from you. And that is how islam wants Muslims to be.
There is NO end to our desires and they will multiply to the extent of our moral, social and ethical degradation, which is what happened in the west.
Therefore, Islam asks you to shun your vain desires and do 'jihad' against them.

its not.. all you need to know is that there jihad is gonna go on for a long time .. and the only way to solve that problem is to get rid of em all.sorry to sound so mean but when they stop shooing at us, there will not be very many Muslim people left.

Islam was founded by Muhammad who is an interesting character. He started his career by robbing caravans. He was a thief turned prophet. He was a charismatic leader who was able to unite the religions in the area into one religion through his creation of the Quaran that borrowed bits and pieces from other scriptures such as the Bible's old and new testaments. For example, Jesus is cited in the Quaran as just a prophet as well as the Apostles being referenced. Muhammad gained power by conquering his neighbors and subjugating them to Islam. His teachings are to subjugate those of non-Islamic faith "Infidels" by converting them to Islam or pay a retribution and be under the rule of Islam if not converted. These Islam rules apply to Muslims today and there is a sizable minority of several million who subscribe to the bloody, aggressive religious theology of subjugation. All of the major wars today are with Islamic groups. Islam is the largest enemy that the west faces today and you can be assured that more battles will be fought by the US and west against radical Islam.

Bukhari:V1B11N617 “I would order someone to collect firewood and another to lead prayer. Then I would burn the houses of men who did not present themselves at the compulsory prayer and prostration.”
Bukhari:V1B11N626 “The Prophet said, ‘No prayer is harder for the hypocrites than the Fajr. If they knew the reward they would come to (the mosque) even if they had to crawl. Certainly I decided to order a man to lead the prayer and then take a flame to burn all those who had not left their houses for the prayer, burning them alive inside their homes.’”

Qur’an 48:28 “It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islam), that he may make it superior to every other religion, exalting it over them. Qur’an 9:30 “The Jews call Uzair (Ezra) the son of Allah, and the Christians say that the Messiah is the son of Allah. How perverse are they!”
