light red brown paneling half down, upper is a beige color. Cabinets are a little updated but can't afford to change (beige as well) and the doors are a burgundy color at this moment. asking for any help including websites that can help us rearrange and find a good look for this. looking for an elegant contemporary look ASAP. PLEASE HELP. We appreciate it.

you can easily paint the paneling. (I just did) but once you do you can't unpaint. If it is how I picture it, the paneling goes halfway up the wall from the floor. Paint this red top with a black painted chair railing. Paint the top half of the wall a beige or cream. you can reface the cabinets with paint in the same colors as well.

You can paint your cabinets as well as the walls to complement the paneling or in contrast to it. You can also buy trim pieces for the cabinet doors which will change the look quite a bit.
