I too suffered the same sometime ago. When consulted with my physician and took urine culture, i grew E.coli. So it was the infection caused by E.coli and was treated with penicillin injection twice a day for a week. This is my personal experience, so check with your physician if this is the same what i had, but nothing to worry, u wil recover fast.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region. The main organs in the abdomen are the digestive system consisting of the stomach, small and large intestines, the liver, the gall bladder , pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. You could be releasing a kidney stone. They are tiny, but as they move along the urinary tract, they cause much pain. As is gets closer to "coming out" you may see a little bit of blood in your urine. You really need to get checked though. sometimes they get stuck and need to be surgically removed. A hernia, which I have, protrudes out and you can feel it. I have one, but it never bothers me when i need to pee, so have it checked!
