I don't like nukes. Nuclear weapons touched me in my special place, at least that's what the hypnotherapist told me.

Something good about nuclear weapons: Since 1945, there has never been a war between two nuclear powers. MAD does work, to some extent. Proxy wars? Sure, but no straight out, conventional war. That's got to be some sort of record, especially since the world is so much smaller now.

Not to bore you too much, but the person who was stronger always ruled the roost.
We can only hope that the strongest one will use their strength wisely.
We should always stay friendly with the strongest one. That way we can protect each other.
If we can hold nukes up as a deterrent to somebody else that has them, that is good.
Put simply - if somebody threatens your family, what would you do? Just let them do it? No, of course not. You would tell them that if they hurt your family they will get the same ,or worse, back.
The only way to look at this is personally. IF THE MAN NEXT DOOR WANTS TO KILL YOUR FAMILY, YOU STOP HIM!!

Yes.

I feel safer with nukes defending my Nation. It gives us leverage in world politics. If we get rid of Trident, then nations who didn't like us before would consider attacking us a little more, due to the fact that we don't have superweapons anymore. I hope we'll NEVER have to use them, but it's like taking out an insurance policy. You hope you never have to claim, but you know you need it in case of damage etc.

Nukes: what a work of men, that such a word and man-made weapon can deter hostile countries from attempting any takeover, without nuclear weapons our country would have to sell our souls to the devil, for their nuclear protection. Not a good idea to be empty handed, if you know what I mean. If it wasn't for these types of military capabilities, what language would we all be speaking today........go think

The only country to use them: U.S.

the problem with Nukes now is if we use them aginst a nation EVERYONE will be pissed at us and threaten to invade us and it will just cause a bigger war which will kill more then a nuclear explosion and radiation will kill... many innocent people will die and many people fighting for what they believe will die.
