"Excalibur" was a movie about King Author that was popular in the '80s, and "Camelot" was the administration of President John F. Kennedy.
Originally, Excalibur was Author's sword as some else already noted, and Camelot was his castle. Camelot is usually used as a metaphor for the ideal society where everyone is equal (the "round table" with no head nor foot) and everyone is noble.

Camelot is the legendary fortification supposedly built and occupied by King Arthur. It was the location of the Round Table and the meeting place of King Arthur's Knights of The Round Table.
Excalibur was King Arthurs sword. Not to be confused with the Sword In The Stone, which Arthur pulled to show him as rightful heir to the throne. Excalibur was given to Arthur after the Sword he pulled from the stone broke during battle. It was given by the Lady of The Lake, occasionally referred to as Vivien.
There is an interesting story regarding the return of Excalibur when Arthur is on his deathbed, but I can't remember the details, you could try searching the net.

Why is this in religion- shouldn't it be in Mythology or History???
Excalibur is King Arthur's Magic sword (given to him by the Lady of the Lake. Originaly called Caliburn...
Camelot is his Castle/capitol (It can also mean the time of JFK in the Whitehouse...)
They may or may not (like Arthur himself) have been true but they are likely to be based on at least SOME fact...
