yes, I am married a christian and using birthcontrol. God is still in control whether we are on birthcontrol or not. We are so lucky to have a God so much bigger than us and who loves us more than we can ever imagine. He knows us so well that He will not give us more than we can handle. So if he gives you one child or five children He knows you can handle it and that it is His perfect will for you! All we need to do is trust Him because He knows what He is doing. And I am so happy that I am very well educated ; ) I hope this helps you out, good luck!

I don't understand why you feel like you must do that. I believe you should "go forth and be fruitful" but how fruitful? I don't believe you have to kill yourself having children to fulfill this requirement in the Bible. I don't think God expects you to put yourself into poverty and the loony bin with excessive children. Actually, I think that would be contrary to God's wishes simply because if you limit the number of children you have you can better care for those few.

I don't know really what the answer is but here is my opinion. My friend who is Catholic is very much against birth control. I am Christian and not against it personally and either are my friends and family. I feel that you are not harming an already made baby just preventing one. I know there will be people who disagree but that's how I feel.

Nope. I too am Christian. I just figure birth control is like asking God nicely not to give you a child yet. I was on the pill and got pregnant with my 3rd baby so I know if He wants it to happen it will. I am getting my tubes tied after this one and I am hoping God will take me seriously this time. LOL...

It's better to not have a child than to have one that causes all kinds of problems for you and it.
There would be a lot less sorrow in the world if people would stop having unwanted kids (because they won't use protection) or would reduce the amount of kids that they do have.

no....it is your body and you can decide to do what you want with it....no matter what the church tells you.....birth control is something that smart educated people use when they dont want to be baby factories.....dont let anyone else tell you otherwise......i am not religious and dont believe in god so i am on birth control just like all the other intelligent educated people in the world.....so i say go on it and no one will care....your decision.

Let's put it this way, would god want us to keep having children, if we can't afford it mentally or financially? We would be hurting our children then. I believe god wants us all to control ourselves, and if you use protection, and you still get pregnant then when there's a will there's a way!
