Dose anyone know a good book that helps one understand the bible and read the bible....It's confusing I don't like church and he church chanel TBN I say this with up most respect "sucks" so i just want to read and find out for myself...I read it but i don't know let me know...

You could get a study bible which helps with footnotes to explain some verses and stuff in the bible.

Go to salvation army and get a free Bible that has Jesus' words written in red ink. (most all their Bibles will have such.) Now simply read and study Jesus' words. Those words will last you for the next 5 years or so.

The Intepreter's Bible is a good go. It has both "pastoral" notes as wel as fairly decent academic material. Your libary should hae the set or a local church library will.
