I am by no means a heavy person, I'm only 16 years old and am still pretty light. However, I've gained about 10 pounds within the last month-two months and I'm not sure why. Once I started to notice the weight gain, I changed my eating habits hoping that would help-- but to no avail. I normally wouldn't let a little bit of extra weight worry me, but it's mainly around the abdominal area and I can see and feel a significant difference when I put on my clothes. I don't want this to effect me in an unhealthy way, and I want to try and lose those extra few pounds... but first, does anyone know why I might be gaining so much weight so fast?

Everyone gains a bit more weight as they grow up. Especially during their teens. This is because teens are still growing!! Don't worry, this is normal for everyone. As people get older, they'll start losing weight naturally...Try exercising and eating healthy foods, they help make a healthier you! =)
