this boy has liked me sence we met in 7th grade, its been 2 years now. he asked me out last year and i turned him down cause i barly knew him. we like quite a few of the same things......so do you think i should give him a chance?

The start of a relationship is getting to know a person. If you aren't sure, don't jump right into being his girlfriend. Maybe suggest just hanging out here and there and see where that takes you. But only you can decide if you should give him a chance. Don't let anyone else try to push you one one or the other.
