When this noise 1st started I thought it was my antenae, but I checked that and it looks fine. Then I thought it was my amp. Threw away perfectly good amp. Hooked up new amp and the noise still comes and goes. It sounds like cell phone interefence. Like when your phone rings too close to your tv or computer speakers, kind of like bubbles. Happens on the radio and CD's. I have completely rewired the system at this point and am going crazy. Please help

alot of times it can be your amp ground wire and where its placed. usually the noise (the ones ive had to deal with) comes from ground interference and quite often its picking up noise from the fuel pump. RCA cables are also really good at picking up the same noise. Make sure you use GOOD cables and try rerouting them. and the best rule of thumb is dont run them near any other wires, if you do make sure to cross over the other wires at a 90 degree angle.

I would say it happens about 15 min into turning it on right? what happens is the wires in the voice coil heat up and when they do they start to short out... Its the beginning of a blown sub. My guess. Without hearing it. What kind are they? Any warranty? If not let me give you a price on replacing it

Before you try all these possible but hard to fix problems, try this. if it only comes on when your lights are on then it is interference with the lights. happens on alot of cars. there should be a light level adjuster, adjust it till you hear no more sound.
