Planes fly into buildings. Bombs go off on trains. Childeren are raped & murdered. So many horrible things happen daily and yet people make little things like being homosexual seem like the biggest catastrophe that has ever happened to man kind. I am a bisexual chick and i am proud. Though God put man and woman here for a reason..we are supposed to populate the world and share love..whatever..I know God does not deny gays from the heavenly gates. Think about it, the planet is over populated. Millions of relationships are unfaithful. I dont think that two same gendered people loving eachother is bad. If anything, its good. I know alot of super kind hearted gay people who only want to love the world. I myself am bisexual. I do feel a little guilty, but only because it seems like so many others view it as a sin and i am impacted by their opinions. Being gay should only be a sin to those who are perfect. We all sin daily, no body is perfect.. Deny it or admit it, the truth is obvious.

I am not going to say THEY are bad people. THEY are individuals.
Back in the day when the bible was written, they beleaved that it was a choice. So if you choose this path God will send you to hell.
We know now that it is (for a male) that it is a hormonal imbalance. They have an abnormal amount a estrogen vs testostorone.
So with this logic it's the same to say that it is a sin to have a certain illness or to be born blind.

For a start...The bible is purely a history book that is open to much mis-interpretation. There are a lot of inconsistencies in the bible. It was written and produced in a time that is very different to contemporary society. We have come to understand alot of things that were very much misunderstood in the past. For example, people with epilepsy were classed as mad and placed in lunatic asylums. Women were regarded as lower down the evolutionary scale.
People shun what they do not know about or understand. There is good and bad in every race, colour, creed and sexuality. We should not judge anyone by these factors. Gays are human beings like the rest of us.

It doesn't say that. There is a story interpreted about a corrupt place that was conquered. That's it.
You are among homosexuals every single day. You walk among them, you inadvertantly talk with them, you probably even admire some of them and you have no idea that they are gay.
So, the question doesn't make any sense. People first, then categorize accordingly. Here's my opinion, your bible is your safety blanket to make value judgments toward others without knowing human history.
Try the Chinese, they have even more accurate human history that is recorded 5,000 years before the bible.

Well, let's just say.....If you're going to use the Bible in a question like this.....Should you even have an opinion on Gay People? Judge not.....or am I mistaken about that being said in the Bible too?

I consider them to be biologically abnormal and sexual perverts. However, if you're going to tolerate them that's fine BUT you should have to tolerate all other perverts as well, after all, one perversion is much like another.
The biological abnormality is that they can't reproduce. The only way they can survive is by conversion, so they do their best to convert (corrupt) others.
This is a learned behaviour and is unlikely to be genetic as it is a non-survival trait. Therefore, it can be cured by medical/psychiatric intervention. A good long prison sentence used to work too.
Maybe they need to be introduced to the work of Marwood.
PS. the view that it's normal because it happens in the animal world is only a half truth. The missing bit is that when the pack find out, they usually tear the queer animal to pieces or cast it out of the pack (a death sentence). Wonder why they don't mention that bit :-).

Love the sinner hate the sin.
I am a sinner what right have I to judge other people, We are all sinners!
I am a Christian. I believe the bible is given to us as a handbook for our guidance.
I have many friends who are homosexual but it does not define who they are. In the same way I have many friends who indulge in heterosexual activity without being married to their partner. As far as I am concerned I have no right to differentiate between either of these sins and the lie that I told yesterday!

where in the bible does it say that? just wondering because i don't remember that part. i mean, I remember the part when Lot lets the "angels" stay at his house and the men of the town come to hurt them, but Lot tells the men to rape his daughters instead. I think it's in Gen. 19.
oh wait... it also says, though, that women are "lesser" than men and that this god of the bible can kill babies whenever he feels like it....
this is what I DO KNOW... you can't help the way you're born. or who you fall in love with. so long as you're happy and not hurting anyone you should be able to do what you want.

Bible has been translated hundreds of times under the control of the church. Some of the first translations are locked in the basement of the Vatican in Italy and some say not a word of the current version agrees with those. The pope has always directed what the translation will say. Therefore, they have admitted the bible is a total lie. I am not gay, but I don't base anything I feel about gays on a lying poorly translated book of total fiction.

I am 56, so consider my answer source :) I've always been a Christian and have run over this issue of gay for a long time. I have finally come to the conclusion, that I can love gay people, but I cannot love their choice of sexual behavior. It really is a belief, I believe in the Bible and it is opposed to gay sexual behavior, so that is where I draw my opinion. I actually love to visit with gay people and discuss the issue because I like to hear it from their side and I do have gay friends. They are just people to me until it comes to their sexual behavior.
