There are 3 thing that I do for migraines but I have never had them consistently that long may be more serious.
The first/fastest is to take a swig of molasses, contains magnesium (regulates many things) and potassium that the body needs. Result is that it helps relax the muscles.

Get him to take Motrin. He will be alright, it is probably sinus or the flu or a virus going around.
He should be okay, give him warm fluids to drink
