I aleady know Montessori, au pair, nanny, home-based, and Head Start. Am I missing any? Is on-site the type where it is at the work place?? PLEASE!!!!! NEED ANSWERS ASAP!!

i am in early childhood education. these are what were listed in my portfolio.
child care centers:multiple rooms of different ages usually 6 weeks to 12 years old, operates all day long but part time is allowed and often there is transportation to and from school provided.
family day care homes:someone who adapts their home in to a servise. usually ages 6 weeks to 12 but may limit age ranges.usually less structered than a child care center but has a home-like atmosphere and sometimes has longer business hours.
infant/toddler child care centers:ages 6 weeks to 2 years of age.full or part time service available.
before and after school programs:gives school aged children a place to go before and after school while the parents are working. usually are operated at 6:00 until 9:00 and reopens at 3:00 until 6:00and transportation to and from school is provided.
pre-school/nursery school:this is usually a half day program that is only available a couple of days in the week. emphasizes educational services to stimulate childrens overall development.
pre-k programs:usually sponsored by both public and private schools and are designed to prevent school failure. 1/2 or full day and usually children between the ages of 3-5 yrs old and is usually free of charge.
corporate child care centers:child care programs that are offered to employers for employees. they usually charge a lower rate and are open rare hours to help the company.
in- home child care: (nanny or au pair)someone who cames in to your home to take care of the children .
montessori preschools:a preschool that emphasizes the childrens development by providing step by step sequences .usulally operate on a half day basis
head start programs:a school for 4 year olds that focus on comprehensive services for low income families usully 1/2 day but some are full day services.
ecp for children with special needs:sponsored through public schools and serve children ages birth to 5 years of age that have disabilities such as cerebral palsy, birth defects,autism, bahavioral disorders, down syndrome,or hearing impairment to name a few.

ecp for children who are ill: a daycare that excepts children who are mildly ill, and recuperating from contagious diseases such as chilcken pox, these programs are usually ran by hospitals.


also there are crisis nurseries:a child care center that is provided to as a way to prevent child abuse, parent that are overstressedand are at risk of abusing their children may use a crisis nursery. usuallly opend 24 hours
parent cooperatives:parents that get together play groups or a preschool of their own, parents take turns doing secretarial work or caring for the children.
