We have been friends for over 5 years, like best friends. We have never done anything like kiss or anything else. I have always had a boyfriend and I have just recently broke up and he has told me he is interested in me as more than a friend, he wants to date. We both find each other attractive, but what if it doesn't work? Should we jeopardize our friendship?

There is no easy answer to this age old question. If things don't work out dating, there is a very good chance that you will not remain friends, or at least close friends. Do you take that chance?

Have you often wished he was more than just a friend, or are you just on the rebound now? Has he ever expressed any interest in you as more than a friend, or is he just seeing you a vulnerable after a recent breakup?

Try turning him down the first time he asks, giving the reason as being too soon after your recent breakup. If he remains your friend, then he probably is not just trying to take advantage of your emotional state. When you do accept his date later, wear what you always wear around him.
