Oh! I absolutely know what you mean! A few years ago I found I had hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and needed to quit a few things, including alcohol. Yeah, well, some of my in-laws decided it was because I turned religious. That wasn't the case at all. I just needed to stop because it was making me feel so bad. I can now drink moderately without it bothering me..............so, wouldn't you know, they think I'm just fine again!
BTW...........the ones that were bothered by my stopping were the heavy drinkers of the family. Go figure! :)
You just get healthy again and ignore them. :)

I have been trying to figure this one out. I recently decided to quit drinking hard liquer and everyone thinks they need to tell me about their alcoholism. I only drink once or twice a month at most. I have been known to go many months without drinking. I have no clue, sorry. Must be they are just trying to help or relate somehow

Thats why exactly... like it HAS to be in your life or out of it for 2 weeks. Someone that does not have a drinking problem doesn't really care if they drink in 2 weeks or not, it does not run or alter their life like that... if you do have a problem please seek professional help if not for your sake, for you loved one's.
